The Greenfield Clock

 Greenfield Clock; © 2001; commissioned by North East Sustainable Energy Association, Greenfield Ma, donated to Town of Greenfield MA.  It is located at the site of an old train station.  The folk art train has twelve historic figures, selected by the community, in the passenger cars.  At one o’clock the first one sits up in front of a window in the passenger car, at two a second, and so on until twelve fifty nine when they all lay down and the cycle begins again.  The sculpture is solar powered.  Steel, mixed media, solar powered clock mechanism. 14 ft. high, 1 ft. deep, 14 ft. wide.
